WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND AT WHAT STAGE
In case you are an Internship Candidate or Employment Candidate application we only collect the necessary information, which are included in your CV such as Name and surname, Nationality, Contact details, Qualifications, Previous work, salary and reason for termination of employment, Name and contact details of previous Employers, Place and Date of Birth, Marital Status, Yellow Slip (if applicable), Certificate of Employment from current/previous employer, Position Applied for, Date of applying for Employment, Sex, Identification information, Photo, Languages, Completion of Military Obligations, Accommodation Abroad, Health Status and Diseases, Skills and Interests, Spouse’s Name, Full Name and Date Birth of children, Signature. In addition, any other personal data provided to us about you by the recruitment agency (if applicable).
Also, we collect information to communicate with you or to arrange an interview. Such information includes your email, date and time of the interview or your phone number. In case the interview takes place through video conferencing tools we use your name and surname and the name you use on the tool as well as your photograph.
During the interview we collect information for your evaluation. These include your name, position which you have applied for, Date and time of interview, Academic qualifications, Work Experience, Additional Information, Additional information, whether you have prepared, knowledge of the Company, details of the opinion of the Examiner, whether we have invited you to a second interview, whether we have invited you to a written interview, second interview comments, written exam comments, eligibility of the candidate for Employment/Internship, General Comments and name of the Examiner.
In order to inform you of the results of the evaluation we will use your Name and Surname, Telephone Number, Email, Level of Education, Languages and Past Experience.
To let you know whether or not you have been successful in your Employment/Placement Application we will use your surname, email or telephone number.
We also collect the following information:
- Internship Candidates: Time of Studies, Field of Study, Preferred Languages, Preferred practice areas, Preferred practice period, Goals of practical experience.
- Employment Candidates: We will file specific information in an Excel File such as your Name and Surname, Telephone, Email, Academic Qualifications, Languages and Past Experience.
HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION
We collect this information in a variety of ways. For example, data might be contained in application forms, CVs or resumes, obtained from your passport or other identity documents, or collected through interviews or other forms of assessment or via recruitment agencies.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION
We rely on our legitimate interests to process your personal data given that:
We will use your personal data related to your qualifications to assess your suitability for the position. We will also use your personal data related to your contact details to contact you either by telephone or email to arrange an interview. We will also use your personal data in order to conduct the interview and assess your performance at the interview. Furthermore, if you are chosen for employment or internship, we will use your personal data to notify you and to prepare the employment contract or internship. Lastly, in case you accept the position at NETinfo Group we will inform the recruitment agency of the position, date of employment, monthly salary and other benefits that will be provided you.
In case we employ you as an Employee or an Intern, then the reason for processing your personal information is because we are taking steps prior to entering into a contract with you after you application for Employment or Internship.
In case we do not employ you, by accepting the Privacy Policy, you provide your consent for the retention of your personal data for a period of up to 3 years. This allows us, in case there are no available positions at the time of your application or if you are not selected for the position you applied for, to store your personal data for a period not exceeding 3 years from the date of your consent. During this period, we may contact you regarding other job opportunities within any company of the NETinfo Group.
WHO ACCESSES YOUR DATA
Your information will be shared internally in NETinfo Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes:
- Members of the HR and recruitment team;
- Interviewers involved in the recruitment process;
- Managers in the relevant business area and
- IT staff (if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles).
We will not share your data with third parties, without your consent and unless we are prepared to make you an offer of employment. NETinfo Group may then share your data with former employers to obtain references for you, and employment background check providers to obtain necessary background checks.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THIS POLICY
If you provide or have already provided to us information about you by applying for employment, then you have the following rights under this privacy policy and the relevant legislation on the protection on personal data:
- You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the supervisory authority in Cyprus for the enforcement of personal data protection legislation, we would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the supervisory authority, so please contact us in the first instance.
- You may at any time cancel your consent for us to process your information:
- You may at any time send us any of the following requests:
- A request for us to permanently delete all or some of your personal data from our records.
- A request for you to access your personal data that are in our records.
- A request for us to provide you with a copy of your personal data that are in our records, in digital or hard copy form.
- A request for us to update or correct your personal data that are in our records.
- A request for us to forward to another party of your choosing, a copy of all or some of your personal data that are in our records.

Please keep in mind that if you cancel your consent for us to collect, keep and use your information for the purpose of your application for employment, or if you make a request for us to permanently delete your information from our records, or if you make a request for us to stop all processing of your information, we will no longer be in a position to effectively process your application for employment and we will no longer be able to contact you regarding interviews or in relation to employment positions. Also, if you make a request for us to limit what we do with your information, in a way that we are no longer in a position to process your application for employment, then we will no longer be able to contact you regarding interviews or in relation to employment positions.
In processing any of the above requests, we will require proof that the person making the request is the same as the person to which the information refers.
